Aedini the Longbow
Aedini is clearly of elven make; its curves are covered with delicately carved lines that seems to flow like blood vessels. Always supple and balanced, the bow never needs to be restrung. When arrows are fired from Aedini the string hums at an incredibly low octave, and those close enough to hear often believe they can make out some sort of song. The wielder of Aedini has a slightly increased sense of pessimism. Aedini has the same properties as a +1 longbow.
Hematophagy (Level 1): Aedini blesses every arrow it fires with a dark gift: upon piercing living flesh, the arrow draws in some of the victim’s health. If the arrow is removed within five rounds (30 seconds), the individual who removes the arrow is healed by 1d4+1 HP. Removing up to three arrows from a body takes an action; additional arrows or additional bodies take more time. Certain creatures are immune to this effect, based on body composition and armor coverage.
